The Violetraptor is a massive, hyper-aggressive raptor that preys on megafauna and airships in the polar jet streams between Kela, Thazvaar, and the Geba continent. Its 20 to 30 meter wingspan and reinforced skeletal frame let coordinated flocks of five to fifteen shear through hulls and propulsion systems in high velocity dives from cloud cover or stellar glare. Its violet plumage refracts light to disorient pilots and mask attack vectors, so a flock is hard to track until impact.

Presumed to descend from the rarer Jadenraptor of the Uncharted Continent, the Violetraptor has been reclassified as an invasive threat for its sudden appearance and aggressive behavior. The Kela Maritime Guild and Sentinel Division authorize live-fire areas and bounties for corpses to stabilize long-haul air routes and prevent its spread into relay zones. Frontier crews regard it as an omen of catastrophe and Frost Sentinel lineages as an emblem of reckless strength, and it is admired and despised in equal measure.
