Lavaridge Palm
Manalheim volcanic palm
Origin
Manalheim (volcanic ridges and geothermal valleys)
Record
Geban field flora
The Lavaridge Palm is a palm-like tree native to Manalheim’s volcanic ridges and geothermal valleys that can reach over one kilometer in height. Its roots extend into molten rock layers and draw the heat and minerals that sustain it. The trunk is dense, fibrous, and heat-resistant, and can be carved and lived in without harming the tree. Entire settlements have been built inside living trunks. The palm’s presence marks stable volcanic zones where geothermal pressure remains balanced, making it essential to long-term habitation studies and colonization efforts across Manalheim.
