Ropevine

Yuvaar and Thazvaar vine

Origin
Yuvaar and Thazvaar (cliffs, canyons and forests)
Record
Geban field flora

Ropevine is a very large vine native to Yuvaar and Thazvaar, known for its thick, fibrous stems and great tensile strength. It grows across cliffs, canyons, and dense forests and can bear extreme loads without tearing, which makes it one of the most durable natural fibers known. Properly cured and woven, entire sections can support tons of suspended weight.

For its strength and flexibility, Ropevine is harvested for climbing lines, bridge cords, and athletic rigs. Its best-known use is in the Yuvaar Hunting Games, where competitors rely on the fiber’s natural elasticity and resilience for vertical and aerial maneuvers. Outside sport, it is an essential material for construction and for expedition-grade rope systems in industries across Geba.
