Trenchribbon
Geban Sea deep algae
Origin
Geban Sea (depths)
Record
Geban field flora
The Trenchribbon is a ribbon-like algae found in the depths of the Geban Sea. Operators and contractors have historically used Trenchribbon fields for concealment during covert underwater operations, relying on their density to mask movement from sensors and visual detection. The practice is dangerous, because the fields are also prime habitat for the Sea Phantom, a predator that can make such cover lethal.
