Geban field flora

Ashsprout is the first plant to grow on fresh ash in Manalheim. Within days of a low-intensity eruption its seeds, carried in by wind and rain, cover new ash fields in a short, fleshy green mat. It grows fast, binds the loose ash before the constant rain can wash it away, and dies back within a season as larger plants take its place, leaving the soil richer behind it. The Cinderhorn herds that move onto new ash fields are following the Ashsprout.
