Ngorrhal Passreed
Ngorrhal stimulant reed
Origin
Ngorrhal (passes and glacial valleys)
Record
Geban field flora
The Ngorrhal Passreed is a tall, frost-resistant reed native to Ngorrhal’s passes and glacial valleys, recognized by its hollow stalks and frost-catching fronds, which bind loose slopes and shelter small fauna. Dried and then brewed, chewed, or smoked, it acts as a strong stimulant. Users may stay awake for days with clear focus, faster reflexes, and sharpened vision, while suffering intensified pain and sensory overload. Overuse in natural-born individuals can lead to heart failure, temporary or permanent blindness, lameness, and cognitive delay. Engineered individuals show no response to Passreed.
