Kelan Scrubheath

Kela plateau scrub

Origin
Kela (plateaus)
Record
Geban field flora

Kelan Scrubheath is the low, woody scrub that covers Kela's plateaus and the main grazing of the Boretheris Titan. It grows no higher than a person's knee, keeps its tough grey-green leaves through the deepest cold, and regrows from its roots after being grazed down to the stems. The fenced plains where the Boretheris herds are kept are managed around it, with herds moved between sections so the scrub can recover, and the cut stems are dried and stored as fodder for the worst of the ice storms.
