Frosthorn
Kela parasitic icevine
Origin
Kela (frozen plains)
Record
Geban field flora
The Frosthorn is a parasitic icevine native to Kela’s frozen plains. It feeds on whatever it grows around, be it metal, stone, or ice, dissolving the material through chemical leaching and rapid erosion. Its pale, thorned coils spread quickly beneath snow layers, wrapping around relay towers, vehicles, and foundations until they collapse. Once considered harmless frost vegetation, it is now classified as an invasive hazard across polar regions and cold settlements.
