Kazo Reyjuul
Expedition Writer and Recorder
Kazo Reyjuul was a full Jeyrhan biologist and technician who co-led a civilian expedition with Huyasa Sers to catalog Geba’s flora and fauna, serving as its writer and recorder. The team of 52 Gebans, Jeyrhans, and Berinese crossed Geba, Ngorrhal, Kela, Ukhaalstaag, coastal Thazvaar, and Manalheim while avoiding active naval conflict zones. When a Thazvaari infiltration ambush struck the party in Manalheim’s volcanic ridges, Reyjuul recorded the Geban researchers’ disciplined array work and praised their gunnery for suppressing the enemy advance with technical precision.
The expedition produced more than fifty plant discoveries for bio-engineering, which Reyjuul compiled into the first plant index, and documented major fauna including the Emberjaw Sentinel. A rockslide on Manalheim maimed him, taking his left eye and his ability to read, and most of the team died to terrain and attack. He and Sers were the only survivors to return the codex to Jeyrha, and they advanced practical technologies from the expedition’s findings. The surviving Geban researchers stayed behind to establish permanent imperial outposts, which halted any further Thazvaari research efforts in the region.
