Ashan’Vaer Kel’varenath

Ashan’Vaer Kel’varenath, remembered as The Luminous Emperor, ruled during the Era of Early Stagnation, when the male population had nearly collapsed and the Empire was fracturing from within. Crisis management defined his reign. His best known act was the Emperor’s Insemination Edict, which required the majority of women of reproductive age to be inseminated in an attempt to stabilize the population.

He moved the center of advanced medicine from Jeyrha to the continent of Geba and tried to restore stability through science, public health, and tightly regulated social policy. Diplomatic initiatives were attempted during his reign, but the deeper social fractures within the Empire kept growing.

Under his rule, women became the dominant demographic of the planet. The imbalance did not ease, and its consequences would define generations. His efforts at reform set the precedent for later genetic and social engineering.
