Kwe Vyrchai
Festival Combatant
Kwe Vyrchai was a Berinese Runner turned Leader who rose to prominence during the inland Thazvaar hunting tournament, an extreme and now-banned variant of the Yuvaari Games. As a Runner he was known for unmatched speed, evasive instinct, and adaptability under fire. When he was promoted to Lead, he coordinated complex maneuvers while syndicate forces besieged the team, and he kept hunting desert beasts throughout.
In one famous engagement he directed his team across Thazvaar’s open ravines while evading airship scans, gunfire, and collapsing terrain. His team was disqualified after multiple deaths and he was the last fighter standing, but his endurance and inventive tactics, such as directing a Holder to intercept gunfire while an Ambusher laid a rope trap, cemented his reputation across Geba’s relay networks.
Disqualification rules denied him official recognition. His performance still became a defining example of what a Runner could become: strategic and resilient as well as fast.
