Midreach Arms

Midreach Arms emerged in the modern era as a subsidiary of Solarn Legacy Engineering. It represents Solarn's attempt to service the common market, an effort that demonstrated that a manufactory built for precision relay engineering and high-tier contracts had no understanding of how to produce affordable arms without the unlimited funding and massive price tags that define everything else Solarn touches.

The result is a product line that saturates markets with low-quality gear. The weapons and armor are semi-reliable under normal conditions and frequently fail in high-stress environments. Midreach is widely disliked for its unreliability and for the perception that it endangers users in conflict zones while trading on the Solarn name. Experienced contractors avoid it. Entry-level civilians buy it because the price is lower than Joxi Essentials and the Solarn branding suggests a quality that does not exist at this tier.

The subsidiary also handles relay transmission of entertainment content, a function that operates independently of its arms production and draws less criticism. Midreach lacks true operational independence or integrity, existing as an extension of Solarn's brand into a market Solarn was never designed to serve.
