Ngorrhal Ice Bear

Alias: None
Origin: Ngorrhal and Kela (glacial valleys, high-altitude ice fields)

The Ngorrhal Ice Bear is a colossal hypercarnivorous predator of Ngorrhal, Ukhaalstaag, and Kela's glacial valleys and ice fields, its pale or mottled-grey fur blending into rocky outcrops or snow mounds for silent ambushes from ridgelines or crevasses, head larger than a Frost Sentinel's body overpowering packs of Greater Smilohounds with chilling intellect that targets humans despite abundant megafauna, killing without feeding in sport-like behavior baffling researchers. Living 500–700 years and maturing at 15–20 it claims vast territories that become impassable to expeditions. It is often hunted by groups of post-service Assault-Class Engineered who seek out the, much larger, male variants. It is banned for use in the Yuvaar Hunting Games following fatal events. Encounters are unwinnable; survival demands retreat to confined terrain like caves or ruins where its massive frame cannot maneuver. Firing at it on open ground is certain death. If ambushed, be perfectly still.
