The Northern Sea Phantom is a hyper-intelligent ambush predator native to the frigid coastal waters of Kela and Ngorrhal, extending south into the Geban Sea. The northern variant ranges from 8 to 15 meters in length and 1,500 to 4,000 kg, its sleek semi-translucent body rendering it nearly invisible beneath the surface. Equipped with advanced sensory organs and pigment-shifting skin, it adapts instantly to turbulent currents and low-light conditions, striking with surgical precision before vanishing into obscurity. The northern variant is patient, methodical, and territorial, preferring ambush from depth over pursuit.

The smaller Geban Sea variant ranges from 3 to 6 meters and 200 to 800 kg. It is faster, more aggressive, and known to hunt humans as readily as marine fauna. During the Era of Imperial Conquest, these variants were notorious for gathering beneath warships, fully aware that battles would soon fill the water with corpses to feed on. Despite their intelligence and precision, both variants are now actively hunted by maritime guilds and research vessels to protect trade and expedition routes.
