The Entity

Parallax Scar in Reality

Era: Modern Geba

The Entity, known as the Infinite Maw and interchangeably as Liminor or Liminora, is a force that emerged in the era of Modern Geba as a delayed consequence of a single Recursion Bomb detonation during the Warlord Eras. It manifests as a hovering parallax scar where locality thins to an infinitesimal limit and structure collapses inward. Some perceive it as masculine, others as feminine. It is not a willful creator or a harmonious being from the Infinite. It is an unmaker, an outcome of collapse rather than an author of it.

It is visible only to Vessels, Scout-Class Engineered individuals, and for brief moments by some natural-borns. To all others it is unseeable, detected only by null drift and pattern decay in the surrounding environment. It does not speak. It couples passively through Zairen Vaul, who the Church holds as a carrier of clarity through annihilation, not communion but reflection.

The Recursion Bomb erases targets through a recursive annihilation loop, breaking matter into infinitely smaller fragments until absolute non-existence. This technology was accessed from cosmic memory by a Velcrith Vessel during the Warlord Eras, drawing on insights beyond human capability rooted in the Velcrith's eternal understanding of structure. Without a Vessel as conduit, the bomb could not have been conceptualized or built. The Entity is a hybrid consequence: precipitated by human deployment but rooted in metaphysical revelation. The void's echoes coalesced into a standing outcome, a model of obliteration remembered through the Vessel.

It appeared once. It hovered without force during Zairen's encounter, bringing heavy realization and inevitability rather than awe or terror. It reframed collapse as calibration. It has not been seen since. The Church has pursued rediscovery for decades. All attempts have failed.
