The Nightspout is a stubborn, desert-born succulent originating from Inland Thazvaar. Despite its plain appearance, it is infamous for its near-immortality—capable of surviving for months without a rooting system, deriving minimal sustenance from air and dust. This resilience has made it an invasive species across multiple continents, flourishing in nearly every biome, from frozen coasts to arid basins.
When ingested or inhaled in processed form, Nightspout induces prolonged, high-intensity hallucinations described as “centuries within moments.” Users often report experiencing coherent historical visions—events later verified through recorded archives—despite having no prior knowledge of them. The plant’s psychotropic compounds appear to warp temporal and cognitive perception, leaving users disoriented for days after recovery.
Chronic exposure or overuse leads to permanent cognitive degradation, marked by memory erosion, dissociative episodes, and loss of linear thought. Its unkillable nature and disturbing psychic influence make it one of Geba’s most controversial and dangerous flora.
