Glassbloom

The Glassbloom is a translucent predatory plant native to the moonlit groves of Saethera. Its glowing petals lure small creatures and fauna close before the bloom seals shut, trapping them inside. The plant releases a corrosive acid that dissolves the prey into nutrient sludge, which it later expels to spread new growths across the grove floor. Functionally bridging the line between flora and fauna, it exhibits basic reactive movement and limited environmental awareness, responding to vibration and heat. Though beautiful from a distance, entire outpost groves have been lost to unchecked Glassbloom growth.
