Whitewing

The Whitewing is a massive carnivorous raptor of Ngorrhal's remote peaks, distinct from the Swiftwing with an 18 to 20 meter wingspan and considerably greater mass. Where the Swiftwing is built for speed and precision diving into ocean surfaces, the Whitewing is built for impact, using its bulk to crash into megafauna like Greater Smilohounds during high altitude dives that rely on weight and force rather than the surgical strikes of its marine relative. It has never been observed over oceans and hunts exclusively in montane regions, occupying the same peaks and passes that the Frost Sentinels have inhabited for millennia.
